JOSE MIGUEL

José Miguel is 8 years old and lives in La Ceja with his mother and grandmother, who are his greatest support and source of strength. He was born extremely premature at 29 weeks and, since then, has faced significant health challenges.

José Miguel has total vision loss, developmental delay, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy. Despite these conditions, he is a child full of light and tenderness, with a smile that reflects his remarkable ability to feel and connect with those around him.

Through the Steps of Hope – Pasos de Esperanza Foundation, we have walked alongside his family by providing comprehensive support, including financial assistance, an orthopedic bed, a specialized stroller for mobility, medical appointments with specialists, medications, and currently monthly groceries to help ease the daily burden at home.

José Miguel’s story reminds us that hope is built with love, perseverance, and support. Every act of help becomes a source of well-being and dignity for him and his family.
